I began sewing at a young age and continued through high school and college. It was not until after two years of teaching however, that I began to look at my work in a serious way. I started sewing full-time in 2000, selling my work at galleries and craft shows around the Southeast.
My work includes hand dyed and silk-screened organic clothing for women, fiber art wall quilts, bags toys and fiber collages.
I’ve studied at Penland School of Crafts in Penland, North Carolina. I am a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. I live and work in Asheville, North Carolina.
