I have lived in the Cattail Creek community of Pensacola, NC for the past 15 years, originally coming from a small town in South Florida.
I have been knitting and crocheting since I was 13 years old. During the time I raised my family I knitted sweaters and afghans in my spare time, which was seldom. Since my retirement, I have again turned to needlework to help pass the time. There are so many beautiful and unusual yars on the market these days and it i exciting to see how they work up.I especially enjoymakingwhat I call ‘summer scarves’ which are so lightweight you hardly know you are wearing them. I also knit hats and scarves for winter use as well as shawls and afghans. I still work part time in accounting, but knitting and crocheting is a great way to relax and at the same time come out with a wonderful product.
